Q. 3&4 - Evaluation.

This is an example of an excellent student film that has 2,060 views.
As this is a low budget film; probably done with resources the filming crew already had, there was no media institutions involved and the students had to distribute their work on their own, using the resources around of them, one of them being the internet.
The internet is one of the best way to distribute ametuer and professional works as it can reach people around the world and become international.
I found this video on youtube, which is one of the best internet sites to distribute ametuer videos as it is free and gets over 100 million views a day. It can also be accessed by people world wide.

Other sites that will be good for distribution are social sites such as facebook, myspace and piczo.
Having thousands of friends on these sites can share your video making it popular. Low budget posters can be done on the computer, costing very little money. They video may be seen by big produces that find their work interesting, and may want to invest in them, although this is very rare.

These students would have to attract the audiences attention by making the film exciting and using phrases like 'scary thriller' and 'shocking' to attract people. Once they have a decent amount of views like this video, a local cinema might find what they are doing productive and may agree to do a screening amongst peers and family.
